The green luxury electric bike industry appears to be growing thanks to the brains and braun of Parker Brothers Custom Choppers.
After the success of bring the famed Tron bike to life and the Green Machine, they have now created The Detonator.
The e-bike features a 30″ front wheel and dual 96 volt electric motors in the hub of the 27″ rear wheel. It is powered by lithium-ion batteries, and charges in an hour when plugged into a 110 volt outlet. Parker Brothers estimates the bike has a 80-100 mile range when fully charged, and it’s been bench tested to a 120 mph top speed, according to Wired magazine.
It is priced at $100,000, nearly double the Tron Lightcycle, and available in the US, Europe and Saudia Arabia.
