INVITATION ONLY FOR THE TOP 1%

Invitation only for the top 1%Erik Wachtmeister, the Swedish social media entrepreneur that created aSmallWorld, is back with a new online venture, Best of All Worlds.

Watchtmeister’s site targets the “top 1%” and all members need to be invited in, similar to aSmallWorld which was created in 2004, the same year as Facebook.

“The top one percent of the online audience, people who are leaders in their field, investment bankers, PR people, media, fashion, government… It’s not about jet-set or rich people, but sophisticated people who have good taste,” Watchmeister said. And, those that want to exchange contacts and events.

The site reportedly has 20,000 members before it launched but is looking to reach “three million people than a billion,” he added, a reference to Facebook’s announcement in July that it had more than 950 million subscribers, noted Luxuo.

Wachtmeister promises to “return relevance, trust, and usefulness to the online world” by helping the chosen to “discover people, common passions, and compelling information for tomorrow, not yesterday, in worlds of shared interests and friends.” If curious, email: curiosity@boaw.com after you join HEDGEAnswers The Community. Or you might want to ask around if any one you know is a member of Best of All Worlds to get an invite or try aSmallWorld, which is more about connection than the top 1%.
