Truffle truffles: La Madeline au Truffe from Connecticut chocolatier Knipschildt has created the world’s most expensive chocolate, priced at $250 for just 1.9oz. It is a rare French Perigord (mushroom) truffle ensconced in a ganache made from Valrhona dark chocolate (70%), truffle oil, vanilla and heavy cream before being dunked in more dark chocolate and cocoa powder. The currency of flowers: While many will be flocking to buy up overpriced roses and orchids in Saudi Arabia they perfer to just turn their money into flowers with origami.
