Spain is to become the next Las Vegas, says casino kingpin Sheldon Adelson.
Adelson recently announced a $35 billion investment to construct a mini Vegas strip in both Madrid and Barcelona. He explained, “We are looking at 12 integrated resorts, 3,000 rooms each. A mini Las Vegas about half the size of the Las Vegas strip in Spain for the European market.”
Before you book your next vacation, the proposed Euro Vegas isn’t expected to open until 2022 plus the Spanish government still has to greenlight its development.
