Say it with a billboard?

Say it with a billboard?

Normally reserved for PSAs and mulit-national corporation ad campaigns – one man in Karachi, Pakistan was hoping to woo back his ‘Princess’ by apologizing with a billboard.

Reportedly it reads:

Hi Princess

I know I Don’t have your attention these days…

I know I have been, dirty, sneaky, immoral, poorly-endowed slimeball

& everything But I Really want to make things right, because

without you I am nothing and all I want is a chance to prove myself.

I am Sorry for everything I have done but I have learned…

Your’s (soon to be) Husband,

Nabeel Khokhar.

P.S. I Love You.

It didn’t work, notes blogger, hoping this will not trend as it could be costly to apologize for all of his mistakes.

According to NPR, billboards in Time Square can cost about $4 million a year and December offers the greatest expose with five million tourist passing by not to mention all the collateral exposure from postcards, photos and TV shots.

Companies like Coca-Cola and Samsung are Time Square staples with rotating ads that have run for 80 and 20 years respectively.

It is unlear if individual Americans will begin airing their dirty laundry or view via billboards beyond politicians and Yoko Ono who often promotes her messages of peace.
